She pointed out the lack of sterilizers for medical instruments in the institution. "The autoclave, which was produced in 1996, often breaks down. On days when it is out of order, staff are forced to transport instruments by ambulance to the 6th maternity hospital for sterilization. This is incorrect and violates sanitary standards, creating a risk of cross-infections. The instruments used during childbirth in the 6th maternity hospital are sterilized together with those used in the surgical and purulent infection departments of the Jal hospital," the deputy said, urging the installation of autoclaves at the national center.
