At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 14, deputy Yrysbek Atazhanov (district No. 2) stated that there is a serious shortage of textbooks in educational institutions in several villages of the Kadamjay and Batken districts, as well as in the city of Aydarken.

According to the deputy, many parents are willing to purchase the necessary textbooks themselves but have encountered a lack of books in the market.

Atazhanov emphasized that the problem requires urgent resolution and appealed to local authorities for assistance.

Additionally, he expressed the need for the construction of a new school in the village of Zhenish, as the existing educational institution "Yntymak," built in 1962, is unable to cope with the increasing number of students. Currently, children study in 2-3 shifts.

The deputy also called attention to the necessity of providing residents of the villages Umay Ene and Kyrgyz Kyshtak with quality drinking water.
