During the session of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 14, Deputy Zhanibek Abirov raised the issue of the shortage of ambulances for the emergency medical service in Bishkek.

He noted that according to the data from the administrative-territorial reform, the population of the capital has already exceeded 1.3 million people. Given the significant size of the city, this complicates the rapid response to calls.

According to Abirov, the emergency service currently has only 35-40 vehicles at its disposal, which is clearly insufficient considering the growing number of requests from the public.

In this regard, the deputy urged the leadership of the Ministry of Health to consider increasing the ambulance fleet. He emphasized that although digitalization in the service has already been implemented, the main problem lies in the lack of vehicles.
