According to the deputy, the limit was previously raised from 3 kW to 5 kW, which was an important step given the challenging climate of the highlands, where more energy is required for heating residential spaces.
In his speech, Bakasov provided statistics: the country consumes 66.3 million kWh of electricity daily, of which only 2.8 million kWh is accounted for by the Naryn region.
Additionally, he raised the issue of the need for gasification of the region.

At the beginning of January 2026, the Naryn PES already increased the power limit of the electrical networks from 3 to 5 kW for 61,200 subscribers, which occurred after numerous appeals from citizens and in response to a sharp drop in temperature. This allowed the overall limit for the region to increase from 189 million 648 kWh to 264 million 312 kWh during peak hours.
