- The parliament's website has published information that the bill concerning amendments to the law "On Renewable Energy Sources" will be considered in January 2026.

This bill was presented by the Cabinet of Ministers at the end of September 2025.

Among the key changes, it is proposed to include a rule that organizations operating in the renewable energy sector are required to allocate 1% of their revenue from electricity sales to the budget of the local authorities where the power plants are located.

Additionally, another important proposal is the requirement for the presence of energy storage systems, which must account for at least 30% of the installed capacity of the renewable energy power plant.
