The website "Koom Talkuu" has published a draft resolution proposed by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic concerning the reorganization of several state institutions in the field of social protection.
Within the framework of this document, it is proposed to merge the Republican Institution of Prosthetic and Orthopedic Products and the Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities, which are under the management of the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic. The result will be the creation of a new institution — the Republican Institution of Prosthetic and Orthopedic Products and Restorative Rehabilitation for People with Disabilities.
The main goal of this project, according to the justification, is to optimize and simplify state management, as well as to eliminate the duplication of administrative functions and reduce excessive procedures. The reorganization will lead to a reduction in a number of administrative and auxiliary positions; however, specialized professionals will retain their jobs.
The new institution will have 201.5 staff units. After optimization, the total payroll fund will decrease by almost 33,000 soms per month. At the same time, the project does not foresee additional expenses from the republican budget.
