The Government of Kyrgyzstan has proposed for public discussion a project concerning the reorganization of several institutions operating in the social sphere.
According to the presented document, it is planned to merge the Republican Institution for Prosthetic and Orthopedic Products under the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration with the Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities. After the merger process is completed, the new institution will be named the Republican Institution for Prosthetic and Orthopedic Products and Restorative Rehabilitation. It is emphasized that the newly created organization will be the legal successor of both institutions and will continue to fulfill their tasks in full. The Ministry of Labor has been tasked with preparing a transfer act and conducting the re-registration of the new institution. The ministry will also need to adjust its decisions in accordance with the new resolution and optimize its staff to avoid duplication of functions.
The government emphasizes that the implementation of this resolution will take place within the approved number of staff positions and using the funds provided by the republican budget. No additional financial resources are foreseen.
This draft resolution has been developed in accordance with the presidential decree aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing bureaucracy in the public service system.
