The increase in electricity consumption limits in the Naryn region has become possible thanks to a decision by the Ministry of Energy, which raised the previously established limit from 189,648 kWh to 264,312 kWh.
This measure is aimed at improving electricity supply and stabilizing energy supply in the region. It is part of a comprehensive approach to ensuring the reliable operation of the energy system of the Kyrgyz Republic during peak loads.
In addition, the presidential envoy in the Naryn region, together with district state administrations and territorial subdivisions, as well as the Ministry of Energy and the Open Joint Stock Company "Kyrgyzkomur," regularly carry out work to provide the local population with coal.
Along with antimonopoly authorities, raids have been conducted with the aim of preventing unjustified price increases for coal. Inspections did not reveal any instances of price gouging.
Currently, the cost of coal in the Naryn region does not exceed 5,500 soms. The total stock of solid fuel in the region exceeds 3,000 tons, of which approximately 1,500 tons are located at the social fuel bases of the Open Joint Stock Company "Kyrgyzkomur."
