During an off-site meeting, members of the parliamentary committee on labor, health, women's affairs, and social issues visited the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Resort Therapy and Rehabilitation, located in the village of Tash-Dobo.

According to the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh, the deputies discussed key issues facing the institute.

“The building of the medical institution was constructed in 1984 and has not undergone major repairs since then. Nevertheless, the institute continues to operate and annually receives about 13,000 patients from different parts of the country. Deputy Gulnara Baatyrova emphasized the importance of the institute's work for society and highlighted the need to create a comfortable and accessible environment for patients. In particular, she pointed out the issue of free treatment for heroic mothers,” the press service reports.

Additionally, Deputy Gulkan Moldobekova pointed out that the current funds allocated for food are insufficient and called for their increase.

The committee recommended that the Ministry of Health take measures to modernize the institute's equipment, carry out repair work, improve the quality of services provided, and increase staff salaries.
