On January 27, during a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on labor, health care, and social issues, it became known that Kyrgyzstan has filed a lawsuit against Russia in the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Deputy Gulnara Baatyrova drew attention to the need to address issues related to obtaining medical insurance policies for migrants from Kyrgyzstan and their medical care in Russia.

The head of the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund, Azamat Mukhanov, noted that work in this direction is ongoing.

He added: "The Kyrgyz side has turned to the court because the Russian side is not fulfilling the conditions outlined in the EAEU agreements. Mandatory health insurance policies should also be provided to the family members of those working in Russia. This agreement was signed by five countries," explained the fund's chairman.

In addition, he reported that the court session took place last week, and a decision will be made within two weeks.
