A unique 'black horse' over a thousand years old has been exhibited in Beijing
An extensive exhibition titled "Galloping Forward" has opened at the National Museum of China, dedicated to an important symbol of the lunar New Year. According to the Telegram channel "Chinese Panorama," the exhibition includes 120 invaluable artifacts that illustrate the centuries-old relationship between humans and horses.

This exhibition is the result of significant collaboration: six leading cultural institutions in China were involved. Visitors will be able to observe how the image of the horse has changed in culture—from a fierce warrior and symbol of imperial power to an important element of trade on the Silk Road.

The key exhibit of the exhibition is a rare tri-colored ceramic horse covered with a unique black glaze. This relic dates back to the Tang Dynasty, when Chinese art reached its peak. The significance of this item is hard to overstate: only two such figures have been found in China.

In addition to ancient bronze artifacts, exquisite paintings, and figurines, the organizers have also presented modern elements. A unique collection of souvenirs has been developed for museum visitors—ranging from cute toys to stylish accessories, allowing them to engage with history in an interactive format.
