Akmaral Tentimishova, a skier from Kyrgyzstan, made a statement on social media regarding the accident that occurred at the 'Kashka-Kulak' ski resort, where she fell from a cliff. According to her, the information being circulated in the press about her condition is not true.
According to her version, the incident happened during her descent when she collided with another skier, which led to a sudden increase in speed. At that moment, there were small children below.
“I tried to brake, but it was already too late. Realizing that I could harm the children, I decided to go off the track,” Akmaral noted.
She also emphasized that she was unaware of the cliff behind the protective netting.
Akmaral denied the information about a spinal fracture and other serious injuries, stating that she has a confirmed fracture of the right wrist, a dislocated hip joint, a leg fracture, rib displacement, a shoulder blade fracture, and a concussion.
