In the Kadamjay district, new varieties of apricot and cherry are being planted

In the Batken region, in the village of Kyzyl-Kyshtak in the Kadamjay district, a project has begun for the planting of seedlings of modern varieties of apricot and cherry.

According to information provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, new varieties of apricot, such as Mikado and Djebasreda, have already been planted on an area of 6.5 hectares. These varieties are distinguished by their early ripening period (April 25-30) and high transportability. The expected yield is 8 tons per hectare over three years. Additionally, cherry varieties Grace and Svid Arina have been planted on the same area, which will start yielding fruit in 5 years, with a projected productivity of 10 tons per hectare.
