On April 7th, an accident occurred on the heating network in Bishkek, between Mederov and Akhunbaev streets, resulting in damage to a 900 mm diameter pipe.
The city administration noted that to resolve the issue, the old pipe was temporarily disconnected, and work was carried out to connect it to an alternative pipeline.
Since the incident, heating supply for the city's residents has continued without interruption, although hot water was temporarily turned off. In the 5th microdistrict, hot water is fully supplied, and residents of the upper areas have been promised that hot water supply will be restored within four hours.
Five units of special equipment were used to eliminate the accident, including a crane, an excavator, a mobile pumping station, and two specialized vans.
“We will do everything possible to complete the installation of the new pipe in the shortest time, within one day,” the official statement said.
