One local resident noted: "Cars are sinking on Deng Xiaoping Street, in the 'Akuna' area. A ditch was dug, but no warnings were installed. It overflowed, and a car fell into it. We need to find a way to pump out the water."
The problem is also observed at the intersection of Suymbaev Street and Jibek Jolu Avenue, as well as at the intersection of Chuy Avenue and the Embankment, where it is also impossible to pass due to flooding.
"It's impossible to walk or swim across," noted one of the city residents.
Local residents are urgently asking the authorities for help.
Another resident of Bishkek added: "At the intersection of Leo Tolstoy and Bakh streets, it's impossible to get through. Shouldn't the utility services do something already? On one side is the road, and you can't go around it, and on the other — everything is flooded."
