Ulan Biibosunov has been appointed head of the GKNB department in Bishkek

Ulan Biibosunov has become the new head of the State National Security Committee's department in Bishkek. This was reported by the portal 24.kg, citing its sources in law enforcement agencies.

According to the editorial information, Biibosunov holds the rank of colonel in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Previously, he served as an advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs and headed the counter-extremism service in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

At the time of writing, official information about the appointment had not yet been published in available sources.

We remind you that after the departure of Kamchybek Tashiev from the position of head of the GKNB, the president initiated measures to reform this agency.
