Japan has transferred 43 units of road machinery to Kyrgyzstan for the Batken region

In addition, an asphalt concrete plant with a capacity of 35 tons per hour has been opened in the region.



A ceremony was held in the Batken region to mark the transfer of 43 units of specialized equipment for road construction and maintenance. This event was made possible thanks to the support of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Important guests attended the event, including the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan, Hiroshi Hirano, JICA's Resident Representative, Nishigato Kotaro, the First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, Beknazar Bazaraliyev, the Presidential Envoy in the Batken region, Aibek Shamenov, and local officials.

It was also reported that Japan has established a new asphalt concrete plant in the Batken district, which will be able to produce up to 35 tons of material per hour.

"The opening of the plant will help provide the necessary construction materials for road works, and the new specialized equipment will significantly accelerate the processes of their maintenance and support," the press service stated.
