The acceptance of applications for the international competition "Media-Navruz 2025" has come to an end. According to information from the organizers, over 40 works were submitted by journalists and authors from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
The competition has generated significant interest from both journalists and representatives of the scientific community in the region. Participants include scientific institutes, universities, and leading media outlets such as "Russian Gazette," "Word of Kyrgyzstan," the TV channel "Katun 24," Sputnik Kyrgyzstan, "Evening Bishkek," and the news agency "Kabar."
The event is organized by the Scientific and Educational Center for Altaic Studies and Turkology "Great Altai" at Altai State University, which aims to promote scientific cooperation and media dialogue in the Eurasian space.
The competition consists of two nominations. The first, "Expeditions of the Great Altai," is dedicated to the study and popularization of the archaeological and ethnographic heritage of the region. The second nomination, "Our Common Great Victory!," is timed to the 80th anniversary of Victory and aims to preserve historical memory.
The results of the competition will be announced after March 20, ahead of the celebration of Navruz. All participants will receive certificates from the organizers, and the winners will be awarded special prizes for their contributions to the development of scientific and media cooperation between Russia and Central Asia.
