The road is inaccessible at the Sosnovka and Aral checkpoints, and cleaning work is currently underway.
On February 17 at 12:10, avalanches occurred in two sections of the Chychkan gorge, leading to a temporary suspension of traffic at the Sosnovka and Aral checkpoints for all vehicles.
Preliminary information indicates that one of the avalanches is about 100 meters long and approximately 5 meters high. Specialized machinery has been mobilized to address the aftermath, and the clearing is being carried out by Road Maintenance Enterprise No. 23.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, cleaning work is actively ongoing, and additional information will be provided later.
The department strongly advises drivers to adhere to safety measures and to understand the temporary restrictions.
