However, on December 3 of the same year, the Central Election Commission canceled the registration of all 14 candidates in district No. 13, citing serious violations related to the installation of surveillance cameras, which jeopardized the secrecy of the vote. Repeat elections were scheduled for March 1, 2026, with the registration of 23 candidates. On February 13, 2026, the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums reviewed its decisions and recognized the elections as valid, canceling the previous ruling.
