According to information provided by the Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan, the panel on administrative cases confirmed the decision of the Bishkek Administrative Court issued on February 16, regarding the case of parliamentary candidate Kanybek Bazarbaev, who challenged the cancellation of the repeat elections in district No. 13, scheduled for March 1.

Previously, Bazarbaev filed an appeal against the decision of the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda, which annulled the repeat elections.

The court of first instance recognized the legality of the CEC's decision from February 13, after which the candidate appealed to the Supreme Court with a cassation complaint.

It is worth noting that the extraordinary elections to the Jogorku Kenesh took place on November 30, 2025. However, subsequently, the CEC canceled the registration of all 14 candidates in district No. 13 due to violations related to the installation of video cameras by observers at polling stations. As a result, repeat elections were scheduled. Nevertheless, on February 13, the commission reviewed its decision, recognized the elections as valid, and announced that the parliamentary mandates would be awarded to Aibek Altynbekov, Talant Mamytov, and Aigul Karabekova.
