At the meeting of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums held on February 13, the candidacy of three deputies from multi-mandate district No. 13 was approved, where the election results had previously been annulled.

The head of the election process organization department, M. Kozhokeeva, reported that the Central Election Commission (CEC) received a collective appeal from candidates: Aibek Altynbekov, Aigul Karabekova, and Talant Mamytov, who participated in the early elections for the Jogorku Kenesh on November 30.

The candidates are requesting a review of CEC decision No. 161 regarding the voting results from December 3, citing new circumstances revealed during the criminal case. For an objective review of the situation, the CEC sent a request to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for additional information, as noted by Kozhokeeva.

A representative of the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mavlyanov, stated that during the investigation, it was established that phones at the polling stations were installed by supporters of candidate Baktybek Sydykov, who has been charged. No criminal cases have been initiated against other candidates.

Talant Mamytov, one of the candidates, emphasized that he acted lawfully and did not commit any violations. "The phones do not belong to us. We demanded that those responsible be held accountable. We waited for justice until the end. We were told that time was needed. We cannot be held responsible for the actions of others. New facts have come to light, and we ask to protect our rights and make a fair decision," he stated.

The decision was supported by 9 members of the CEC, while two voted against.
