The deadline for nominating candidates for the repeat elections of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic in multi-mandate district No. 13 ended on January 29, 2026, at 18:00. The new elections are scheduled for March 1, 2026.

A total of 31 candidates were nominated, including 21 men and 10 women.

As of January 30, 11 candidates have already been registered, while four have decided to withdraw from the elections.

The Central Election Commission denied registration to one of the candidates. As reported by the Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic on January 22, 2026, Mansuraliev Zalkarbek Medetbekovich does not meet the requirement of having resided permanently in the territory of the republic for the last five years prior to nomination.

According to the border guards, he spent outside the republic: 354 days in 2021, 364 days in 2022, and 123 days in 2023.

The process of registering candidates continues.

We remind you that on December 3, 2025, the Central Election Commission identified violations in district No. 13, where 94 polling stations were established. There are 160,340 registered voters in the district, and 14 candidates participated in the early elections. During the inspection, it was found that representatives of the registered candidates illegally installed cameras at 35 polling stations on election day, which violates the secrecy of voting. As a result, the Central Election Commission canceled the registration of all 14 candidates.
