
In February, a program for celebrating Maslenitsa will take place in Kyrgyzstan, organized by the Russian Embassy. This year, the organizers promise a grand farewell to winter with traditional treats, round dances, various games, and the symbolic burning of a straw effigy. To avoid confusion among residents regarding the dates, a detailed list of events has been published.
The main events will be concentrated in several locations, including two major cities, starting the celebrations in the south of the country and culminating on the upcoming Sunday.

In Bishkek, particularly vibrant performances are planned at the venue near the Ministry of Culture and the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan, located at Pushkin 78. Creative groups "Souvenir," "Smile," and "Islamay" will perform here. The organizers invite everyone to come with their families to celebrate the arrival of spring in an atmosphere of joy and friendship.
