
A skiing tournament called "I am the Champion" was held at the ski base in Karakol, featuring 110 young athletes from six teams. These teams represented regions such as Naryn, Chui, Issyk-Kul, as well as the Toguz-Toro and Chatkal districts.
The athletes competed in various age groups, showcasing their skills in speed, technique, and teamwork. The main goal of the tournament is to promote skiing among youth and identify promising athletes.
Results of the tournament
1st place was taken by the "Karakol No. 1" team (Karakol Sports School), which received a prize of 220,000 soms.
2nd place went to the Naryn team (Ala-Too Sports School) with a prize of 170,000 soms.
3rd place was secured by the Issyk-Ata Sports School, which received 110,000 soms.
4th place was taken by the Karakol Sports School, which received 50,000 soms.
5th place was claimed by the Toguz-Toro team, also with a prize of 50,000 soms.
The total prize fund of the tournament amounted to 600,000 soms. These competitions contributed to the development of sports spirit, exchange of experience between different regions, and the popularization of skiing in Kyrgyzstan.
