The expenditure part of the budget amounted to 127.1 billion soms, of which 110.3 billion were allocated for pension payments. Compared to 2024, the amounts for pensions increased by 14.9 billion soms.
Regarding indexing, starting from October 1, 2025, the insurance components of pensions increased by 10%, which amounted to at least 600 soms. For pensioners with large payments (over 50,000 soms), the increase was 5,000 soms.
As of January 1, 2026, the average pension in the country was 11,238 soms, an increase of 766 soms compared to the previous year. A total of 816.6 thousand pensioners are registered in Kyrgyzstan.
It is worth noting that in 2025, all pensions were paid on time, without delays. For 2026, there is no outstanding debt on payments.
The budget surplus amounted to about 3 billion soms, indicating the stability and balance of the financial indicators of the Social Fund.
