In two months, 95 new buses will be released onto the streets of Bishkek.

According to the information presented at the meeting of the road council, the director of the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure, Ulan Beyshenbaev, reported that new buses will start accepting passengers within the next two months.

Currently, the buses are undergoing the necessary preparation stages, including customs procedures. "After receiving the license plates through 'Unaa', we will be able to put them into service," he specified.

This year, the procurement of an additional 625 buses is also planned. According to Beyshenbaev, monitoring of prices for vehicles is currently underway, which should be between 7 to 8 meters long, equipped with air conditioning, and meet the requirements for people with disabilities.

At present, there are 1,567 buses operating in Bishkek, of which 350 are 12 meters long.
