Complex surgeries for mitral valve replacement were successfully performed at the Research Institute of Heart Surgery and Organ Transplantation. According to the press center of the Ministry of Health, the patients were admitted to the facility in critical condition.
Deputy Minister of Health Bakyt Kadyraliev took responsibility for the treatment, personally participating in the surgeries. The operations were successful: one of the patients has already been discharged and feels satisfactory, while the second patient continues rehabilitation in the hospital.

These interventions served as a practical lesson for young cardiac surgeons. During the surgery, specialists had the opportunity to study approaches to complex cases, discuss the latest methods of cardiac surgical treatment, and the peculiarities of decision-making in conditions of increased complexity.
The Ministry of Health emphasized: “These cases once again demonstrate the availability of high technologies in cardiac surgery in Kyrgyzstan. Qualified specialists are working here, capable of performing the most complex surgeries and saving lives. The development of cardiac surgery in the country, the transfer of knowledge to young doctors, and the implementation of modern technologies allow us to provide assistance at the level of leading clinics and give citizens the opportunity to receive treatment at home, without the need to go abroad.”
