In the Jalal-Abad region, 1,020 hazardous sites have been identified, as reported by Turmush, citing the presidential representative in the region.

According to information from this agency, among them, 491 sites are at risk of landslides, 471 are susceptible to mudflows, floods, and bank erosion, while 21 sites are prone to rockfalls.

There have also been 37 cases of ground subsidence and rising groundwater levels.

“As of the beginning of 2025, 1,040 families lived in the sites recognized as hazardous. In the same year, 31 households were completely relocated, and 35 were temporarily relocated,” the statement clarifies.

At the same time, 270 households have not yet received support from the government and land plots. Meanwhile, 770 households have received assistance and land allocations but still remain in their previous locations,” the agency added.
