In Osh, the owners of trade pavilions located in the Alisher Navoi Park expressed their dissatisfaction regarding the demolition of their stalls and appealed to the new mayor, Janar Akayev. In response to their complaints, the mayor visited the site to understand the situation.

The mayor, along with the heads of the relevant services, held a meeting with the owners of the trade points and representatives of the contractors involved in the construction of new facilities.

During the discussion, the parties exchanged opinions and clarifications regarding the arising disagreements.

Janar Akayev emphasized that his main priorities are creating comfortable conditions for the city's residents, protecting the rights of entrepreneurs, and maintaining order in Osh. He also noted the importance of resolving current issues fairly and transparently in accordance with the law.

The city hall reminded that earlier work was carried out to restore order in the Alisher Navoi Park, including the dismantling of old trade stalls, cleaning the area, and planting new trees. All these actions are aimed at creating a safe, clean, and modern recreation area for the citizens. The demolition of trade points began in January at the instruction of the former city head, Zhenishbek Toktorbaev.
