“Naming the school after Musa Jalil is a tribute to a unique person who was not only a poet but also an educator. We are just beginning to realize his historical significance. He brought joy to people before the war, and during the years of conflict, he fought at the front and met his martyr's death,” noted Albert Zulkharnayev.
Musa Jalil, a prominent Tatar poet, was executed in 1944 by the Nazis on the guillotine in the Pletzensee prison in Berlin for his participation in the underground group of the "Moabit" concentration camp.
His collection of poems "Moabit Notebooks" received the Lenin Prize in 1957.
In the summer of 2024, a stele in honor of Musa Jalil was installed at the building of school No. 29.
