The current electricity tariff is 1 som 37 tyiyns
From May 1, the cost of electricity will increase by 27 tyiyns, reaching 1 som 64 tyiyns. This was announced by the Minister of Energy Talaybek Ibraev at a meeting of the committee dealing with issues of industry, transport, and energy.
He noted that if in 2025 the tariff was 1 som 37 tyiyns, it will rise to 1 som 64 tyiyns in May. In the future, by 2030, for users consuming up to 700 kilowatt-hours, the tariff will be 3 som 40 tyiyns, the minister added.
Additionally, from May 1, a night tariff will be introduced, which will be cheaper by 1.7 percent.
