"Kyrgyzfilm" is holding an open script competition for films

The National Film Studio "Kyrgyzfilm" named after Tolomush Okeeva has announced the start of an open competition for screenwriters, which includes both short and feature-length artistic and documentary films. The press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy published the relevant announcement.

The competition covers several categories, including:


Participation in the competition is open to legal entities registered in Kyrgyzstan, such as production studios and creative associations. All scripts must be written in the Kyrgyz language and formatted in "American" style.

The evaluation of the scripts will be conducted based on ten criteria, including the originality of the idea, plot structure, character development, artistic level, adherence to language norms, and the individuality of the author.

The submission period will continue until July 17.
