The official statement notes that the buildings have long been in use and have become morally outdated. In order to ensure the safety of students, new educational institutions that meet modern requirements will be built on the site of the demolished schools.
The mayor's office also reminded that, by the president's order, 10 new schools are planned to be built in Osh in 2026.
