
Kaleb Kopytin, who is only 16 years old, has decided to move to Kyrgyzstan and has officially become a player for the club "Ilbirs." This was announced by the club's press service and the Kyrgyz Football portal.
Previously, Kopytin participated in friendly matches for the Kyrgyzstan U-17 junior national team, where he managed to score a goal. To play in official matches of the national championship, he obtained Kyrgyz citizenship and changed his sports citizenship, which is permissible according to FIFA rules for descendants of citizens.
"Ilbirs" is a key club for training players for the Kyrgyzstan junior national team. In the past, the team has included athletes with Kyrgyz roots or those born outside the country, such as Kimi and Kaya Merkova, Alexander Mishchenko, Edgar Bernhardt, and others.
