The city of Osh held public hearings dedicated to the local budget project for 2026. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.
During the hearings, the chairman of the deputy commission on budget policy, economy, and industry, Kushbak Shaiev, presented a project according to which the city's budget for 2026 will amount to 5 billion 205 million 536 thousand 400 soms. This is 1 billion 780 million 222 thousand 600 soms more than in 2025.
It was reported that participants in the meetings made suggestions for improving social support, modernizing infrastructure, public transport operations, ensuring electricity supply, road repairs, and environmental issues.
The event was also attended by the chairman of the city council, Bolot Bayetov, the first deputy mayor, Omurbek Torobaev, deputies, representatives of local services, public organizations, and residents of the city.
