The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan has reported that citizens of the country currently in Iran can leave through Turkey.
Due to the current situation in Iran and the closed airspace, the Turkish authorities have provided an opportunity for foreigners, including Kyrgyz citizens, to leave Iran using checkpoints at the land border with Turkey.
“If you are in Iran and plan to leave through Turkey, it is recommended to contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan or the country's embassy in Turkey in advance,” the ministry noted.
