If you have the means, life can be beautiful.
After his release from the colony, Daniil Azhiev, the founder of a network of webcam studios, used a helicopter for his flight. This became known thanks to publications on social media.
According to eyewitness accounts, the recording was made on February 17 near correctional facility No. 8 in the village of Petrovka, located in the Moscow district.
Representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the helicopter was rented on January 22. One citizen contacted the Aviation Department, signed a contract, and made a payment of about 270,000 soms. The specified route was from the village of Petrovka to the capital, the city of Bishkek. At the same time, no violations of Kyrgyzstan's legislation were recorded.
The agency clarified: "We prohibit the transportation of weapons, explosives, drugs, as well as individuals who are wanted."
Nevertheless, after the news spread, the leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations initiated an internal investigation. The Aviation Department was instructed to more thoroughly check helicopter renters and their purposes.
Let us remind you that Daniil Azhiev was sentenced to 9 years with confiscation of property. The Pervomaisky District Court found him guilty on several articles of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, including Article 160 Part 1 (organization or maintenance of brothels for prostitution), Article 161 (distribution of pornography), Article 261 Part 1 (participation in an organized group), and Article 215 Part 3 (causing property damage). He was also deprived of the right to engage in entrepreneurial activities for a period of 2 years, was to serve his sentence in a general regime colony, and was to pay a fine of 220,000 soms.
In 2026, Azhiev was pardoned, and on February 17, he was released.
