Eldos Taev, the mayor of Uzgen, shared memories of his mother, Mavludakhan Ryskulova, emphasizing the lessons she imparted to him during difficult times.

Mavludakhan Ryskulova, born on November 17, 1959, in the village of Safarovka, is now celebrating her 66th birthday and raising three children.

According to the mayor, his childhood took place during the challenging 1990s. Despite economic hardships, his mother always tried to provide her children with everything they needed. “Life was tough, but mom did everything possible so that we wouldn’t feel deprived. She could go hungry but always fed us. I remember once, even when she was sick, she went to work. I urged her to stay home, but she wouldn’t agree. Now I understand that she did all this for our sake,” he recalls.

Eldos also noted that his mother always gave wise advice. She encouraged her children to strive for education, behave decently, and avoid bad company, repeating that patience is the path to success.

The role of his mother in Eldos Taev's life is invaluable. “She always blessed me and said, ‘If you serve the people, I will be immeasurably happy.’ Every word of hers inspires me to keep moving forward,” he remarked.

Patience and honesty became the main lessons that the mayor learned from his mother.

Recalling his childhood, Eldos shared some amusing moments: his mother affectionately called him “kozum” for his curly hair. However, there were also times when he was punished for his mischief.
