The Bishkek city hall reported that the northern part of the bridge on Jibek-Jolu Avenue will be opened for traffic on March 10 in the afternoon.
Previously, the width of the bridge was 9 meters, but during reconstruction, it has been expanded to 13 meters, which will improve its capacity.
Due to adverse weather conditions and for the convenience of residents, only one side of the bridge will be opened. Traffic will be organized on this side, and the complete opening of the second part is planned for the end of March.
Currently, work is underway to complete all reconstruction activities.
