A two-month campaign has been announced in Bishkek, which will last from March 14 to May 16, 2026. This initiative by the city administration is aimed at improving the city's infrastructure, sanitary conditions, and greening its territory.
According to the city administration, various activities aimed at restoring order and creating a comfortable urban environment for both residents and guests of the capital will be implemented as part of this campaign.
It is expected that during this time, work will be carried out on the sanitary cleaning of streets, parks, and yards, as well as the planting of trees and shrubs. Additionally, it is planned to improve public spaces and tidy up the adjacent areas of organizations and institutions.
Enterprises and organizations with various forms of ownership are invited to participate in these activities.
The municipal authorities have instructed the heads of administrative districts, together with territorial administrations, to organize and coordinate landscaping work, as well as to interact with property owners, homeowners' associations, and the public. It is important to ensure the timely removal of solid waste, prevent the formation of unauthorized dumps, and monitor the sanitary condition of the territories, including markets.
According to paragraph 168 of the Landscaping Rules approved by the Bishkek City Council resolution No. 150 dated August 29, 2025, all leaders, employees of organizations, and citizens are required to participate in the months of sanitary cleaning and landscaping conducted by the city administration in the assigned and adjacent territories.
Thus, the announced two-month campaign will be an important step towards improving the sanitary condition and greening the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
