The State Youth Theater "Uchur" was founded in 2001 by graduates of the B. Beishenaliev Higher Theater School. The creative team of the theater is based in Bishkek and is aimed at a youth audience. Earlier this year, the theater received its own building (previously used by the private theater "Tunguch"), which allowed it to conduct performances independently of other theaters in the capital.
