The work will be carried out from March to November 2026. The funding for the equipment upgrade is provided by JSC "KUET" in collaboration with the Bishkek Electric Networks Enterprise.
During the repairs, the technical condition of the transformers will be checked, worn components will be replaced, and necessary maintenance will be performed. The installation of new transformers will enhance the quality of electricity transmission, optimize the load, and ensure stable power supply for consumers.
The repair work will cover the following areas of the electrical networks:
• Eastern RES — 113 units under repair, 25 new transformers;
• Western RES — 100 units under repair, 3 new transformers;
• Northern RES — 85 units under repair, 10 new transformers.
It should be noted that the Bishkek Electric Networks Enterprise has 2,248 transformers on its balance sheet. By the end of the current year, all of them will undergo complete technical maintenance and repair work.
