Recently, the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, held a meeting with Askar Salymbekov, the president of the "Dordoy" Association. This was reported by the press center of the city administration.
During this conversation, issues related to improving the infrastructure of the "Dordoy" market were discussed.
“All necessary measures from the city hall have already been completed. We support business and are not against its development; however, it is important that it does not occur chaotically. Creating comfortable conditions for traders and city residents is a priority,” the mayor noted.
As part of the infrastructure improvement of the "Dordoy" market, plans include the construction of multi-level parking, landscaping of the area, including fencing the lake and creating a walking area.
Additionally, the mayor instructed to return all parking zones to the city's balance with the implementation of a payment system via QR codes.
“Askar Salymbekov reported that the construction of roads in the market area will begin on April 1, 2026,” the statement said.As a result of the meeting, the mayor tasked the Sverdlovsk district administration, the Municipal Property Management Department, and the Land Use Control Department with completing all preparatory work, including the dismantling of objects that hinder the implementation of projects.
