According to sources from Turmush, over the weekend at the "bazar" in the Chui region, a large artistic bas-relief depicting Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, the founder of the USSR and leader of the international proletariat, caught the attention of visitors.
“This sculpture stood out due to its impressive size – about 60 by 70 centimeters. An aluminum alloy was used for its creation. Similar bas-reliefs were mass-produced in the Soviet Union during the 1960s to 1980s; they often adorned the buildings of cultural palaces, the entrances of large factories and plants, as well as city squares,” noted historian and local historian Maxim Podgorny.
On the same day, the bas-relief was purchased by one of the visitors to the "flea" market for the sum of 2000 soms.
