
Four people detained on suspicion of corruption
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, individuals suspected of committing corruption crimes in connection with the case involving the open joint-stock company "Kyrgyzneftegaz" have been arrested, according to information from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD).
The investigation began based on data obtained from the State Tax Service regarding illegal schemes for the sale of fuel and lubricants.
According to the MVD, among those detained are: N.N. — former chairman of the board of OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz," born in 1983; A.R. — former deputy chairman of the board, born in 1980; A.N. — director of one of the affiliated companies, born in 1988; and M.B. — former director of a related company, born in 1990.
All detainees are currently in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.
