







The Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Taalaybek Ibraev, participated in the international forum Bharat Electricity Summit 2026, which is taking place in India.
In his speech at the ministerial panel session dedicated to the integration of renewable energy sources, modernization of energy systems, and regional cooperation, he emphasized important aspects of the energy transition.
Ibraev highlighted that one of the main challenges in this process is the need to ensure the flexibility of the energy system against the backdrop of an increasing share of renewable energy sources. He pointed out the significance of developing energy storage systems, modernizing network infrastructure, and implementing modern balancing methods.
Particular attention was paid to the importance of regional integration, which contributes to enhancing the resilience of energy systems, reducing the risks of electricity shortages, and more efficient use of resources.
Kyrgyz Republic's participation in the Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 underscores the country's active involvement in the global energy agenda, as well as aims to strengthen international cooperation, attract investments, exchange advanced technologies, and promote sustainable solutions in energy.
