In Bishkek, a large-scale reconstruction of Auezov Street, located in the "Alamedin" microdistrict, will begin. This was announced by the city's vice-mayor Ramiz Aliyev on his social media page.
The work is scheduled for March and will cover the section from Jibek Jolu Avenue to Salieva Street.
According to Aliyev, as part of the reconstruction, the road will be widened, and new parking spaces and sidewalks will be created along both sides. All existing supports and structures will be dismantled, and in their place, a wide sidewalk with a bike lane and green plantings will be organized.
The deputy mayor also noted the condition of the green plantings in the area.
Citizens, pay attention to the current condition of the trees! We plan to replace them with new ones. The poplars will be removed, and in their place, we will plant five-meter saplings.

At the same time, the vice-mayor did not specify who is responsible for the current condition of the trees. He also added that all buildings located beyond the red lines will be demolished.
According to representatives of the city hall, the reconstruction of Auezov Street is expected to significantly improve the transportation situation and the appearance of the area. However, the details of the project's implementation remain under discussion.
