The Turmush correspondent reports that during the inspections, efforts were also made to explain the importance of maintaining stable meat prices.
Currently, the following meat prices are in effect in the district:
beef and horse meat (on the bone) — 520 soms per kg;
horse meat — 630 soms per kg;
goat meat — 640 soms per kg;
lamb — 660 soms per kg.
The commission conducting the inspections consisted of representatives from the district state administration, the head of the agricultural development department, the deputy head of the veterinary department, as well as representatives from the tax service and the heads of the rural administrations.
