According to the administration, the livestock market in Belovodsk was closed on December 28, 2025, as it did not meet veterinary and sanitary requirements.
The village of Belovodsk, which is the district center, became the place where a livestock market was held every Sunday.
“Meetings are being held in the district with local residents, and explanatory work is being carried out through social networks and oral conversations. Today, a raid was conducted, during which the situation was explained again and informational leaflets were distributed. Part of the livestock brought by residents was transported free of charge to Sokuluk with the help of transport organized by local authorities. Temporarily, the livestock market in the Moscow district will no longer operate,” the akimat added.
At the moment, the livestock market is empty. Sellers and buyers are absent.
Turmush previously reported that the livestock market in the village of Belovodsk was closed on December 28, 2025 due to non-compliance with sanitary and veterinary requirements.
The reasons for the closure of this market were explained to the Ayil Okmotu Narzan as follows:
“The livestock market located at: Belovodsk village, Lomonosov Street, 1, does not meet veterinary and sanitary requirements. In accordance with the decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated June 18, 2015, No. 377, the activities of this livestock market, as well as the sale of agricultural animals in the adjacent territory, are prohibited in the future,” the administration added.
Relevant announcements were posted at the entrance to the market and explained to citizens.
